About R&D

The company has a research, analysis, and development team of more than 200 people with various academic levels including PhDs and Masters, and they have rich industry experience.

To ensure the efficiency and quality of R&D, the company has established an advisory team composed of academicians, professors, doctors, and experts to provide strategic advice for the company's research and development.

While conducting independent R&D, the company has also carried out close horizontal cooperation with well-known domestic and foreign institutes. Currently, it has cooperated with the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Zhengzhou University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and other units, fully leveraging the advantages of industry-academia-research interaction to improve R&D efficiency. This close cooperation not only effectively strengthens resource integration but also greatly accelerates the speed and intensity of the company's technological innovation, providing strong technical support for the company's development.

Enzyme Engineering

Our enzyme engineer team focus on data-and model-driven biocatalytic process development, using smart enzyme discovery pipeline to integrate bioinformatics, physical simulation and machine-learning. We are dedicated specialists in expression systems such as E.coli, P.pastoris, S. cerevisiae & Bacillus, with In-house collection holds >2000 enzymes covering all the essential classes for drug synthesis. Our fermentation capabilities from 1 L to 20 m3 (up to 20,000 L/week), and parallel fermentation development from shake-flask to batch production in weeks. Successfully application has been conducted, for example MNR-01, Ketoreductases/ADHs and so on.

Polypeptide

The high lights of our peptide team are excellent technical proficiency of peptide synthesis purification and modification (SPPS,LPPS, hybrid approaches combining solid and liquid phases, peptide building block synthesis technology, and etc.) , adeptness extends to employing diverse protection strategies (Fmoc, t-Boc, Cbz.) and comprehensive range of peptide modification technologies (Amino acid side-chain modification, Terminal modifications, Cyclization modifications, PEGylation modifications, Fluorescent labeling modifications, Biotinylation modifications, Glycosylation modifications, and Isotope labeling modifications, etc.)
